was born in Washington DC, raised in Rockville, MD and currently resides in Brooklyn,
can be seen all over the Internet in projects for Warner Brothers, College Humor, Yahoo! and Illumistream. Be sure to catch Katy in 2012’s summer
blockbuster Men In Black III. She has also performed in
numerous musical and straight theatre productions in and around NYC. Some of
her favorites include Dark Rapture (Dir. Amy Wright), Moral Dilemma Comedies
(Abington Theater Company), LaChuisa’s The Wild Party (Columbia Stages) and
Love and Happiness (Edinburgh Fringe Festival). Most recently she has been
performing with the Bleeker Company’s production of Smile: A Southern Rock Musical.
Katy’s acting projects keep her busy, she is probably best known for being one half of
the acclaimed country western musical comedy duo Reformed Whores which she developed with her compadre Marie Cecile Anderson.
Whores have been making quite a splash in the comedy world. They have recently been touring accross the country with Primus frontman Les Claypool. They've opened for The Reverend Horton Heat at Irving Plaza and headlined at the Zannies in Nashville, Chicago, and St. Charles. They have featured at The Punchline in San Francisco, The Improv Atlanta and Carolines on Broadway. They were one if this years Andy
Kaufman Award semifinalists and have performed at other notable venues such as The Troubadour, The Gramercy, UCB and The PIT. They have also taken part in the New York Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketch Fest, Chicago Sketch Fest, The
Piccolo Spoleto Festival, and the Charleston
Comedy festival just to name a few. Phew!
